Strategic Partnerships - Bringing Concepts to Life
Working with Viator's B2B and partnerships teams, I developed visual concepts and presentation materials to help communicate proposed integrations with major technology partners, including Amazon and Uber.
My work involved translating partnership ideas into tangible customer experiences through conceptual interface designs, device mockups, illustrated interactions and visual storytelling.
These projects demonstrate how design can bring an early-stage proposition to life, helping stakeholders understand how a potential partnership could work in practice.
My Role & Creative Ownership
I was responsible for creating the visual concepts and presentation materials used to communicate proposed partnership experiences.
For Amazon Alexa, I designed conceptual device interfaces, voice-command conversations, booking scenarios and mobile notification mockups. For Uber, I visualised how travellers could discover and book Viator experiences through proposed integrations within the Uber app.
My focus was on making complex ideas tangible through clear, engaging visuals that could support stakeholder discussions and executive presentations.

Amazon Alexa — Exploring Voice-Led Experience Booking
I developed a series of visual concepts exploring how travellers could discover and book Viator experiences through Amazon Alexa.
The presentation illustrated potential customer interactions across an Alexa-enabled device and mobile phone, using conceptual interface designs, voice-command conversations and booking scenarios to demonstrate how the proposed integration could work.
From Discovery to Booking
I designed a series of conceptual Alexa interfaces illustrating how travellers could refine their search, select activity preferences, browse personalised recommendations and explore individual experiences before booking.
The screens translate a voice-led interaction into a clear visual journey, combining Viator's experience content with an interface designed for Amazon's Echo Show environment.
Connecting Alexa and Mobile
Alongside the Echo Show concepts, I designed supporting mobile notifications to illustrate how a booking could transition between devices.
These mockups explored how travellers could continue their journey on Viator, receive booking information and access their experience details after interacting with Alexa.
Uber — Integrating Experiences into the Travel Journey
I developed visual concepts for a proposed integration between Uber and Viator, exploring how travellers could discover and book local experiences within the Uber app.
The presentation brought together conceptual interface designs, customer journey scenarios and branded mockups to demonstrate how Viator experiences could become part of a traveller's existing journey—from arriving in a destination to exploring activities nearby.
Discovering Experiences Through Uber
The proposed journey explored how Viator experiences could be introduced at relevant moments within the Uber app, such as when a traveller arrives in a new destination.
I created conceptual app screens and notifications to demonstrate how users could move from an initial recommendation into browsing available experiences.
From Booking to the Experience
I developed additional interface concepts illustrating how a booked Viator experience could connect with a traveller's Uber journey.
The mockups explored booking confirmation, scheduling transportation and receiving a reminder on the day of the activity, presenting the proposed partnership as a connected experience rather than a standalone booking feature.
Exploring Additional Integration Opportunities
Beyond the initial booking journey, I created further concepts illustrating how Viator experiences could be introduced through other areas of the Uber ecosystem.
These included driver recommendations and proposed discovery features within the app, helping communicate the broader possibilities of the partnership through tangible visual examples.
Outcomes & Impact
Across the Amazon Alexa and Uber partnership concepts, I translated proposed integrations into tangible visual experiences that could be explored and communicated through stakeholder presentations.
The work demonstrates my ability to take early-stage ideas and develop cohesive visual narratives across interfaces, devices and customer touchpoints, bringing clarity and creative direction to complex partnership proposals.
